With her sixth full-length album, “Short N Sweet,” set for August 23, Sabrina Carpenter is preparing. There will be twelve tracks on the album, including unreleased tunes like “Lie to Girls” and “Dumb & Poetic.” Carpenter announced on her Instagram page using a trailer modeled like an infomercial, dancing to an instrumental of her hit “Espresso.” She showed the album cover earlier, including a ruby red kiss mark on her shoulder.
Carpenter’s successes “Espresso” and “Please Please Please,” have dominated the singles charts this year. While ‘Espresso’ reached No. 3, ‘Please Please’ created history by first showing at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100. According to Variety, Carpenter became the first solo artist on the 66-year-old list to have two top-three songs concurrently.
