California: Los Angeles Paul Walter Hauser, who portrays Embarrassment in the forthcoming animated feature “Inside Out 2,” has publicly apologised for his recent harsh comments regarding Vin Diesel’s behaviour on site. Hauser acknowledged in an Instagram post posted on Sunday making “careless, needlessly mean-spirited comments” regarding Diesel.
Hauser clarified that although his first comments were supposed to be lighthearted, depending on tales he had received from other sources they turned into scathing criticism. The actor pointed out that his remarks followed a gruelling press day for “Inside Out 2” and a demanding night shot.
“A few weeks ago, I mentioned Vin Diesel randomly. It began relatively funny, but it turned into me dogging him out over behaviour I had heard about on several occasions from other sources,” Hauser said. He went on to say that he was tired and that he now regrets what he said in that tired state. “That remark was noted and subsequently went viral. Just come to say I’m sorry for saying that.”
Originally, Hauser’s complaint came in an interview with CinemaBlend when he voiced his annoyance at being likened to Diesel. ” kindly refrain from saying that. I want to consider myself as friendly and on time. I’m sorry; I love people, but I out them regularly when I learn about Hollywood stars that abuse others and are paid really well. And it’s fantastic,” Hauser added.
Hauser apologised, noting the impact his remarks had and their improper nature. “I do indeed get riled up by some of the behaviour I’ve seen, or heard about, and ‘outing’ people to any extent can feel momentarily satiating,” he said Tagging Diesel, he said, “As a self-professed Christian, I need to do a better job of loving others and not trying to ‘correct a wrong,’ or allow my ego to posture itself with some sort of verbal flex. Simply said, it isn’t additive to our society and can harm other individuals. @vindiesel I’m wrong. I appreciate you making so many people happy and entertaining such numbers of people. I’m working on doing the same.
Previous rumours of on-set strife have surrounded Diesel, most notably with his “Fast & Furious” co-star Dwayne Johnson, who once publicly expressed complaints about him but then removed the post.
Hauser’s public apology shows his awareness of the consequences of his remarks and his will to improve behaviour. He said, “I sometimes talk myself into idiocy,” pledging going forward to be more conscious.
